Questions we get

How do I find out about new restaurant openings in Louisville?
The easiest way is a weekly digest that does the tracking for you. 502 Restaurants covers new openings and coming-soon announcements in our free Thursday email, and this page collects the ones from September and October in one place, updated after every issue.
How often is this page updated?
Every week, right after our Thursday newsletter goes out. It only keeps this month and last month, so older openings drop off. Each spot shows which issue covered it or which local outlet reported it.
Where does this information come from?
Openings we covered in the 502 Restaurants newsletter, plus openings reported by local food press, which name and link the outlet. A spot is marked “now open” only when our issue, the outlet’s report, or a Google listing check says it opened.

Lou 🍴Louisville's food-obsessed friend — opinions built on data
Hey, I'm Lou! I've read way too many Louisville reviews so you don't have to. Ask me for a cuisine's top pick, what's on this weekend, or what's about to open — if I haven't covered it, I'll tell you straight (and probably plug the newsletter). Got a tip, a correction, or an idea instead? Hand it over, I'm always taking notes.
