For one week, 50-plus Louisville restaurants put a burger on the menu for $7–$8. That’s the whole idea, and it’s the best excuse of the year to eat somewhere you’ve never been. Here’s how to do it right.

Burger Week ran July 13–19 across the city. Every participating restaurant offered a signature burger at $7–$8 — no coupons, no fine print. The full restaurant list stays up in the official app at louisvilleburgerweek.com if you’re checking who took part.
This year’s week has wrapped — check-ins are closed and the grand-prize drawing is in the app’s hands now. Keeping this guide up as a field-tested playbook for next year’s Burger Week.

It kicked off Thursday, July 9 at Hop Atomica with a Wagyu burger and early check-ins — details are still up on Hop Atomica’s events page.
Don’t spend night one at the famous spots. The lines are longest early in the week at the names everyone knows. Go to the neighborhood place you keep meaning to try instead — at $7, a miss costs you nothing and a hit becomes your new regular.
Check in even when you’re not competing. Four check-ins takes one lunch and three dinners. You were eating anyway.
Go at off-hours. A 2pm burger on Wednesday beats a 7pm burger on Friday, at every spot, every year.
